The Realm of Eternal Rain

I am off to KL and it will either be great or boring. I can’t be so sure about it, but I am getting out of the house, that is for sure. I hope it is going to be fun. I need to have some shopping done too, and maybe some of my favourite food. What say you?

Did a lot of gardening lately, and I planted more cactus saplings, in fact, I could open a cactus nursery. It is going to be fun to see all those little pricky balls grow into bigger pricky balls, and better still if there will be flowers. I can’t water them daily, no? Drats!

The weather is so hot, and thank God there is mango pudding chilling in the friedge, waiting to be devoured when I feel like it. Yellowish, gooey mango pudding, yum! Have you ever tried them? You should really get some when you go shopping. They are the best!

I’ve been sipping green tea on and off, and while I am not doing it for any particular purposes such as reducing fat or washing away oxdants, I find that it is particularly soothing to be able to enjoy a cup of green tea. It is refreshing in the afternoon, and rejuvenating at night. Just that, don’t drink them too often at night, else you can’t sleep with all the trips you need to make to the toilet.

I just can’t believe it. Never mind that the citizens of this country is not educated enough to practice recycle, some idiots actuallyhad the nerve to simply dump rubbish into the recycling bins! If they can’t differentiate whoch bins is for what rubbish, they should have just dump it somewhere else rather than filling the recycle bins intended for papers with half full can drinks. Yucks! People are just so uncivic.

When you order a plate of chicken rice, do you order the roasted chicken or the steamed chicken? Which part of chicken do you like, and would you specifically tell the chicken rice seller? Do you want cucumbers do go with it? Do you want to add the sweetened sauce or you prefer them without sauce?

I was buying chicken rice the other day and heard someone ordering chicken rice with as many answers as you could give to the above question. What joke.

Is it because of the rain? Or because someone is digging the pipes? Or maybe the pipelining rusted. I have been plagued with dirty tap water lately, and I wish they go away soon. It is just so disgusting to look at the tap flowing muddy water. And to think that I am bathing with it, goodness!

Thank God for filters, else I would have needed to drink them too.

I’ve just realize something; the house washing machine couldn’t wash the bigger king sized comforter, so it must be sent to the laundry. Actually, that must be due to the fact that I seldom do laundry at home, plus my blanket is single sized, so it fits nicely. Now that I need to go to the laundromat, let’s see what else must be send to the dry cleaners too.

Cactuses or cacti?

However you called the plural of it, I’ve certainly planted a few of them, and anticipating them to grow into huge, bulbous, pricky plant. I hope these hardy plants won’t fail me, because I don’t know if I have green fingers yet. It is so satisfying to see all my hard work lining up nicely in the garden, and all I need to do now is to watch them grow.

When we want to eat ice creams, we go to the convenience store. Everything is made convenient, and I was wondering if anyone recalls the good old ice cream man that does his rounds riding bicycle, selling homemade ice cream which is affordable to kids. I wonder if that old man is still around, and it certainly is nostalgic buying ice cream from him.

I’ve been vored stiff, so I kinda be good and helped a bit in house keeping, sweeping the floor, doing the dishes, and the likes. I don’t mind doing it, but in reality, I find that these kind of jobs are being taken for granted. You don’t thank people for doing it, but you will complain when the place is messy. Next time round, maybe I should justsmack whoever that’s complaining.

I just hate it when the cyber cafes are full of kids sharing computers. Like, one desktop to four, five kids, and a few computers means there will be two dozens of kids in the cyber cafe. It is just so annoying when they turn on the speaker so loudly and they talk and laugh and shout as if they own the whole place. And they are just damn rude too. I hate sitting next to them.

Argh I want my own internet access!

It has been raining lately, raining so much that it actually makes the whole place cold. Now I wonder if that is how people in winter feels, so cold and damp and boring, lol! At least they can make snow angels. Let’s just hope I can do some baking to lift the mood up. It will definitely be better if there is an aroma of freshly baked cake wafting in the air. MMMmmmm!

Don’t you jut love to eat crabs? I know many people do, and everyone had their preference in style of cooking. I like those with a lot of gravy so that I can dip with bread. They are yummy!

Some crabs are very meaty, and it is very satisfactory, while the thinner crabs are more difficult to eat. But crabs are still crabs, and they are so delicious! Be careful to eat it once awhile though. Not too often.

If you haven’t know already, my life is quite mundane right now, but after discovering instant mash potatoes, I have something else to like in my life already. Those nifty pocket sized mashed potatoes are so convenient, that all you have to do is, tear open the package, pour in cup, and add some hot water.

Voila! Mashed potatoes!

Certainly beats the mash potatoes sold in some fast food restaurant.
