It’s a bit annoying to have hairs on the legs. Well, sure it keeps the legs warm during the cold weather but it just don’t looks nice. I tried cream method before to remove the legs hair but it seems like after a few tries, my skin got irritated. Then I switch to razor which does not help at all. The hair grows after 2-3 days. And I heard using razor will darken the leg skin. Hence, yesterday while I was out shopping I went to the nearest pharmacy to grab a box of wax strips. I wonder if it will work. I heard the pain level is very high. OMG. I have to wait the hair to grow 5mm more before I could try on the wax. It needs to be long enough for the wax to capture.
I had an McDonald’s Cone ice cream with ChocoTop after dinner just now. And my dinner time it like at midnight. Oh my, that’s fattening. But I wanted to eat one. I heard that if you eat an ice cream, it takes two day worth of hours of jogging to get rid of the fat. I wonder how true is that? Sigh, why am I always giving in to my emotion than following the rational thinking? Eating ice cream is not good. It’s worse when you eat it at night.
I read from a magazine a recipe for grilled pepper sandwich. The instructions said that the grilled peppers, if kept for 2 days in the fridge will turn out to be very nice. I wonder if it is true. I have not tried it out. I bought a mix of green, red and yellow peppers. I am going to grilled them a few days later. Eating more greens and such will do me more benefits than harm. Hmmm, should I get the lettuce?
Healthy bread. that’s what I bought yesterday. After reading a grilled cheese recipe from a website, I was off to buy some bread, bacon and cheese. I hope it turns out well, my cooking that is. I bought a loaf of rye bread and a Zurich bread. The rye bread was a bit hard. Hmmm, I certainly hope that the Zurich bread will turn out nice. You know, soft and fluffy. I think I want to bake a bread on my own. Too bad I don’t have the utensil here. Must wait till I go back to my parents’ home. Till then, my cooking adventure.
Nowadays the air is not as clean as the olden times anymore. It’s polluted and every time you go out and come back you will find your face to be oily and sticky. Well, if you are at home or in door, it would be advisable for you to clean your face with facial cleanser, put on toner and moisturizer. If you are going outdoor again, make sure you put on UV shield. However, things would be difficult if you are outside and washrooms are not accessible. Fret not, try to use facial blotter to remove excessive oil from your face. It’s important to take care of your face.
There are a few ways to stay healthy. But let us go through the most basic ones. One of the most important thing in life is food. Most of us indulge in food. But sometime we abuse (read: overeat) it. It is important to eat moderately. Not to follow your taste bud. First, one must not eat too much. When you are 80% full, stop and rest awhile. Having more plates of vegetables and fruits are not just good for your health but for your skin as well. So, eat more vegetables and fruits. Intakes of carbs should be moderate. Things like salt and sugar must be eaten moderately too.
The next most important thing would be exercising. Take the stairs instead of taking lifts. A few more steps means more exercise.
I have read it somewhere stating that sodium bicarbonate is really useful to us other than baking cakes. Hehe.. Cakes generate fats if overate. Anyway, this sodium bicarbonate can be use as a deodorizer. It absorbs moisture and odors. Great huh. I even heard that if u make a solution with it, and soak your feet in it, it removes odor too. I am not sure bout the effectiveness but one can always try. Then, some toothpaste manufacturer use sodium bicarbonate in their products. They use it as whitener. Hmmm… I wonder if i b rush my teeth with sodium bicarbonate solution, will it be whiter? *touch chin*
it rained. It was very warm a few days back. Guess must be the heat that caused the sudden rain today. Anyway, during one of these hot day one must take enough of liquid in order to make sure that we don’t get dehydrated.
Intake of water as much as possible (not too much though) would not only has good effect on your health but on your beauty as well. That’s what I heard.
In any case, I have a bottle of water ready for me in the fridge.

Recently I have been having ginger tea. Well, ginger has a lot of good effects on ones health. But not many people can tolerate the smell and taste of a ginger. Let see, ginger is a spice that mostly use in cooking. Heh, talking bout cooking one of my favourite dish with ginger would be ginger and spring onion chicken. That dish is a fabulous dish. You should try it out. Then if you patron the Japanese restaurant you will see they have this gari. A type of pickled ginger.
Ginger can be used to cure nausea caused by motion sickness. Normally during confinement period, women will be drinking on ginger soup or ginger tea. Not to mention, the Chinese believe ginger can cure the bloated stomach (too much wind one would say).
But then again, there are people who don’t like ginger and of course there are people who allergic to it. So, it is best consumed if you know it is safe to do so. It depends on individual after all. For me, I like my tea along with a few slices of ginger. Tasted great!
